The posts will almost certainly pull towards each other (rather than "buckle") if you "pull on the posts" with the wire. This can be remedied by "guy-wiring" the posts, to give added resistance to directional pull. Better yet, don't try to stretch the trellis wire tight.

When you place food out for wildlife , they come to eat it . The deer come up on my wood deck to eat from pots. However I found human hair ( from hairdressers ) was one of the better deterrents to wild life ; just scatter on plants and soil.
