That would probably be the easiest way to accomplish your goal short of just growing one variety of tomato or such (except you might want to do it on a smaller scale). Some varieties seem more prone to cross-pollinate others in a given set of conditions. The pleated and ribbed tomatoes seem to have strong pollen in my garden (e.g. Pink Stuffer, Zapotec, etc.) | |

The paprikas I mentioned were originally bought as sweet paprika. Last year's plant had a bit of heat. We shall see what this year's plants produce... | |
