Do you know how long I should expect to wait for new branch growth (or is this a piece of string question)? Would you recommend further pruning of some of the cut branches, i.e. the ones that are still looking pretty dead in photo #5? It's a shame that the fruit will have to be removed but indeed, their weight will probably damage the branch. I suppose it is best to remove the fruit as early as possible to avoid to much work being put into its growth? Would you recommend pruning this branch back eventually in order to try and thicken it? | |
