Jun 20, 2018 at 23:52 | comment | added | Bamboo | if all you did was just dig a hole, as you say, then later on, after the tree has recovered, you should apply a mulch of composted manure or composted organic materials 2 inches deep, all around the tree to a distance of a couple of feet out from the trunk, but don't let it sit against the trunk of the tree. I don't like the look of the black stem visible in the picture though...how much rain have you had in the last couple of months since you planted it, not counting the latest dry spell? | |
