I was also taught that in the wild cutting is correct, but a) recent articles I read suggest it doesn’t matter (but makes me cringe, I’ll keep cutting) and b) the boxes will be “spent” after a few harvests, so the risk of infections probably outweighs slightly damaging the mycelium. | |
