Feb 19, 2012 at 16:55 comment added Flimzy @kevinsky: I live in central Kansas, and will be growing a variety of vegetables. What do you mean by soil type? Clay vs. sand, etc? The soil is more clayey than sandy. I'm not sure how to quantify that.

Feb 19, 2012 at 16:23 comment added kevinskio it depends what you are growing! Corn requires a lot of nitrogen, leaf vegetables not so much. Do you expect to take one crop per year or multiple crops? Where are you located and what type of soil do you have?
