Aug 31, 2016 at 2:02 | comment | added | Sue Saddest Farewell TGO GL | @J.Musser Is it possible that the big Juniper we took out of the area of the tall one would have changed the acidity of the soil? It's in this question. The pine and parts of the birches are gone.

Let me know if I left anything out, or if I can help you further. Thanks!!!

Aug 28, 2016 at 23:51 | comment | added | stormy | What are the different micro environments? How much sun, what time of day. More importantly what fertilizer have you used? Was one in soil that nothing has been grown in except grasses/weeds and the other planted in a cultivated spot that has had mulches, fertilizers. What is you soil type? Pretty much, plants are always individuals. Does the hibiscus on the left get any shade during the day? Why is the left plant protected by screen and the other unprotected? Otherwise, this is typical plant behavior. Is the one on the left staked?
