Are these tomato plants ready to be replanted in to my bigger pots? Hmmm, I've probably got a plastic milk jug or two waiting for recycling. I'll see if I can hack some up for a mid-size pot as the jump between pot sizes was concerning me a bit. |

Are these tomato plants ready to be replanted in to my bigger pots? From that site, the pepper's page indicates peppers can have a similar root size, and I had a few successful (by my inexperienced measure, anyway) pepper plants in those same pots last year. However, they were root bound come winter. I'm really just hoping for similar results with these tomatoes. |

What is this discolouration of the skin of my pepper? @bstpierre I... honestly can't remember. I'd completely forgotten I had a question open still. :/ We ended the season last year with some green and some red peppers, but I couldn't tell you which came from which plants (plus, they were eaten some time ago!) or if the fruit pictured was red or now. |

Is it worth keeping indoor pepper plants alive over the winter? They are indoors-only plants; have lived in pots on sun-facing windows sills since I got them. Re-potting is going to be fairly awkward for me because I have no outside space (1st floor flat) and would have to buy a bigger pot and probably some soil/compost. Anyway, I think the main point you're making is "yes, it works", so thanks! However, I'm still tempted to dispose of the sickly plant anyway and maybe replace it with a tomato plant or something else. |
