comment Can I grow spider plants in coffee?
FWIW when I was working as a TA, I read an old paper that found that caffeine inhibits growth of cell walls in plants. Looked it up because some of my students were trying out the effect on plants. Likely a much higher concentration than what you would find in coffee grounds.

This is a good question, particularly the inclusion of a scale, leaf and inflorescence. It would be helpful to have a piece of a branch with leaves as well. I don't have a key specific to the area (There are ~120 species in North and Central America), but a few additional things that would make life easier for someone who does: Are the leaves/branches pubescent? Where? What was the color and size of the flowers? V. acerifolium in Bailey's Manual of Cultivated Plants sounds close, but the range only extends to Minnesota.

comment What are these Jordanian plants?
Plant taxonomy is a very difficult topic. There are a surprisingly large number of species out there, and many look alike. To get anything better than a ballpark Genus level guess, you need to have an expert use a dichotomous key for the area, or learn to use one for yourself.
