Do fir trees cause foundation problems? Contact a qualified arborist to examine the tree. If you do decide to fell the tree, consider if the tree is near a public path or road as felling it could be a hazard (which may also require arboricultural help). |

Can an evergreen fern be adapted for indoor use? I've already planted the fern in a larger pot and I'm worried that I might disturb the roots if I wish to add drainage. I like the idea of taking the plant outside for sunlight, I think I'll keep it outside whilst it matures. |

What kinds of gloves are best for handling thorny rose bushes? @Moe: These kind of gloves are good for soil and general dirt. They don't don't take thorns very well. |

How is short grass like those at miniature parks maintained? @wax eagle, I'd imagine it would be rather difficult to cut grass with a machete considering how difficult to get to some of the grass is. |
