How do I fill in dead patches in my lawn? This is what I thought it would come to. I'll do this when it warms up, thanks! |

Over 1 month, lawn hasn't come out of (what I assume is) dormancy. Is it dead? @Bamboo Ever since we moved in, I noticed some small strips/chunks of grass that were radically thicker/lusher than the rest of the grass. The strips you're referring to are part of what I noticed before. Being that there has been so little improvement, I'll have the landscaper come out and tell me how much it will cost to lay new sod. Thanks for all the advice. |

Over 1 month, lawn hasn't come out of (what I assume is) dormancy. Is it dead? Bamboo - Yes, it's sod and I'm in Bakersfield, CA. The summer is very hot and dry. The sprinkler system covers the whole area completely. |

My lawn got no water for a week. Is there hope? Thanks. I'm hoping it is just dormant, and I figured out today how to turn the sprinklers on manually, so hopefully it'll be back to its pretty self soon. Any idea how long it takes to get out of dormancy? |

How should I go about straightening up my baby trees? Trees are about 8 feet tall, trunks are about 2" wide. A 6 foot tall piece of wood about the same width of the trunk is fastened to the trunk with green elastic tape. It used to be just buried a few inches in the ground until it was pulled out. |
